Club's annual style show featured clients of Bridgewood Farms

This week’s meeting was full of smiles, celebrations and preparation for upcoming events. President Tracey was excited to officially welcome and present three of our newest members Craig Arrant, Michelle Martino, and Ken Tylor with their official blue badges. We are thrilled to have them as part of our growing community and look forward to the connections and opportunities ahead. Congratulations to our new members on this special milestone!

Lion Geren Sims talked to us about the upcoming Golf Tournament. We are still looking for golfers to join us for a fun day on the green at our Golf Tournament on May 21 at Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Club. Whether you’re coming for the competition, networking, or just a great day outdoors, we would love to have you there. This week’s meeting featured our annual style show with the theme, “A Night on the Town.” The models were clients of Bridgewood Farms, and Lion Velvet Dove along with her committee did an amazing job bringing the event together. While some may say we watched eight models walk the runway showcasing the latest fashions, what I truly witnessed was something much more special — confidence shining bright, smiles bigger than Texas, and pure joy as they strutted down the runway while we cheered them on. Standing in front of 150 local peers is no small feat, and each model did it with incredible courage and grace. We are so grateful for our partnerships with local non-profits and especially thankful to the staff and residents of Bridgewood Farms for allowing us to share in such a memorable and inspiring event.

Speaking of partnerships, we are incredibly excited to announce our newest partnership with Lonestar Family Health Clinic. This collaboration is another meaningful step forward in supporting our mission for vision to serve our local community through expanded vision care and resources. By working together, we will be able to reach more individuals and families in need of vision support, helping improve access to care and making a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve. Partnerships like these are what strengthen our community, and we are truly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside organizations that share the same heart for helping others. We look forward to all the great things this partnership and vision clinic will accomplish and the positive difference it will continue to make throughout our community.
