Sadly, our highly talented and much appreciated CNLC Assistant, Lindsay, said farewell as her family is moving outside the area to be closer to extended family and the hubby’s career. Flowers were hardly enough to express our appreciation for her talent and enthusiasm to help our team and all the activities and service projects. “Blue Skies and Following Seas” Lindsay! Our appreciation continued with recognition for our Community Partner of the Week, Woodforest National Bank. We also recognized some of our members unavailable to receive their honors last week for their help at the Montgomery County Fair Concessions, Lions Shelia Thomas, Ricky Morton, Inge Merle and Geren Sims. Also recognized was Lion Gail Cain for her help with the annual Spring Style Show.
Program Chair (for life) Mike Sproba introduced our speaker Mr. Bryce Moore to speak about EOS techniques to assist and optimize organization managers achieve their goals and objectives. The EOS Strategy was developed by Gino Wickman the author of “Traction”. As described by Mr. Moore, the EOS strategy can free business owners of small to large employee organizations from getting stuck in the same six problems. Instead, this system will enable more focus and growth overall. EOS keeps the plan scalable, optimizes meetings and systems to track problems/solutions/measurables, and effectively addresses areas needing change. His insight was very well received by all.
Prior to adjourning the meeting President Tracy Irvine urged everyone who had a little time to help “stuff” the goody bags for the Golf Tournament and to put little goody bags together for Lions to present to our graduating Reaves Kindergartners.
