Hey Lions!

I’d like to start the newsletter off by welcoming Jane and Karl Johnson, and the P&S’s wayward gavel back to the United States.  For those of you who are unaware, Karl kidnapped the gavel and took it to Egypt where the two of them were seen on numerous occasions getting plastered on Egyptian Bordeaux.  At some point the gavel became known as “Ahmed,” who is now convinced he is part pharaoh.  Meanwhile, Jane who was not part of the “the gavel” hostage situation, has been tasked with reprogram Ahmed prior to next month’s P&S meeting.  Unfortunately, she has not been successful as Ahmed continues his threats of going on strike if he is taken anywhere near the China Bear Restaurant.  Things did escalate over the weekend when Ahmed requested a “special executive session” with all the club presidents and secretaries to discuss moving the P&S meeting to a restaurant more in line with his new lifestyle; he has suggested Hadramout’s in Houston. In the meantime, Door Dash has been seen nightly at the Johnson’s home dropping off Egyptian food while Spec’s dropped off a case of Bordeaux.  Please send positive thoughts to Jane as she continues to undo what only Karl could have done. 🍷🍾🦁🤣
