December is going to be busier than Santa’s workshop for the Lions. 🎅
We start the month off with the Lucky Derby – Car Raffle. The BIG drawing is this Wednesday, December 6th. We still have a couple of tickets left for those who like to put things off until the VERY last minute. The Winner’s Finale will be next week where we will see who drives away in the shiny new car. I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling like Clint Eastwood – kinda lucky. “Do You Feel Lucky, Punk?”🚗
Holiday Events:
Jingle Bell Bash – Reaves Elementary School – Friday, Dec. 15th – (9am-Noon) – volunteers needed to hand out treats & escort Santa. Don’t forget to wear your Elf outfit if you have one – you are exempt from this assignment C. Pat Davis. SIGN-UP HERE 🍬
Christmas Basket – for the elderly 1) Bring toiletries (soap, lotion, shampoo, etc – no trial sizes) through Dec. 15th 2) Sorting & Packing on Tuesday, Dec. 19th @ the club office 10am-11am 3) Deliveries – baskets will be distributed after the Christmas Social on Wednesday, Dec. 20th – SIGN-UP for Either or Both!🎄
Christmas Social - Wednesday, Dec. 20th – Fun & Games and yes, Egg Nog. Vicki has promised to make more Egg Nog and maybe even increase the snack tray. However, this does not mean to get 3 more servings. Oh, and we will have the wonder Music of Tony Mac; so, bring a guest! 🥂
